What’s Happening: Enjoy a variety of family friendly events, all FREE and open to the public! There will be food trucks, live performances featuring some of the best talent in the city, and amazing headline acts including TG Live, Candice Glover and the Bee Sharps of SCAD, PORT SAVANT, CJ Giovanni, and the Performing Arts Collective of Savannah.
A Bit About Juneteenth: Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrates African American culture and heritage. It marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, learned of their freedom.
