One of Savannah’s popular seafood restaurants is finally reopening.

The Shellhouse Restaurant has announced they’re back with open doors this June.

According to their Facebook page they are reopening on June 12th.

The seafood restaurant had to temporarily shut down following a fire that occurred in April of last year.

It’s been a long road back for the restaurant.

In March of this year, the progress of the reconstruction was hindered due to the theft of equipment. The incident was reported by WTOC.

The process is now finished despite encountering multiple obstacles along the way.

This summer, Savannah’s newly reconstructed Shellhouse Restaurant will provide a great atmosphere to savor its delicious seafood.
