Next Wednesday, WJCL 22 is set to join forces with the Savannah Downtown Business Association for a networking luncheon.
The goal is to address community safety concerns. Project Community: “Collaborating for a Safer Savannah,” will bring together community leaders to discuss efforts to curb violence in the Hostess City.Scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the luncheon will feature a panel discussion moderated by radio host Mia Mance, WJCL 22 News anchor Greg Coy.
The panelists will include Savannah Police Assistant Chief Robert Gavin, Chatham County District Attorney Shalena Cook Jones, Mediation Center Executive Director Jill Cheeks, Alderman District 2 Detric Leggett, Alderwoman District 3 Linda Wilder Bryan, and Baldwin Park Neighborhood Association Diana Mcgaw.
