Hot Air Balloon Management is organizing the evenings’ events. Event manager Travis Kwaterski, who has been with the company since its inception four years ago, says they offer an experience that everyone will enjoy wherever they go.
“A lot of people haven’t seen the balloons before. It’s becoming something that’s getting older, and we just like being able to bring it back and offer it to the new generation, as well as the older one that still appreciates it a lot,” said Kwaterski.
Ottawa Farms owner Pete Waller is just as excited as everyone else about this weekend’s events, particularly because the farm has never hosted anything quite like it before.
“We’ve had rodeos and strawberry festivals and corn mazes, but this is our first balloon show we’ve had. So, we going to see how it goes, and I hope it goes well,” said Waller.
Children can play games, and do activities across the farm’s property. Vendors from both the farm and the local area will be stationed throughout for visitors to explore.
“We welcome everybody to come out and enjoy yourself. Bring the family and have a good time,” said Waller.
Both Friday and Saturday night’s events will begin at 5 p.m. at Ottowa Farms in Bloomingdale.
