According to Bryan County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia Department of Transportation has closed the section of Highway 204 at Morgan’s Bridge going into Chatham County.
This closure comes as officials anticipate water peaking at the Ogeechee River and onto the road.
Authorities say they will continue to update the public when an estimated date to reopen is finalized.
