Some school systems in our area will remain closed Monday following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
Below is a list of closures (so far):
- Appling County Schools will be closed until further notice.
- Bacon County Schools will be closed until further notice.
- Bryan County Schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
- Bulloch County Schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
- Candler County Schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
- Effingham County Schools will be closed Monday.
- Evans County Charter School System will be closed Monday through Thursday.
- Glynn County Schools will be closed Monday.
- Liberty County Schools will be closed Monday.
- Georgia Southern University will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
- Glynn County Schools will be closed Monday.
- Savannah Technical College will be closed Monday and Tuesday. The college plans to open the Eckburg Auditorium for the public to use AC, power, and Wi-fi from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
- The Children’s Village will be closed Monday.
- Toombs County Schools will be closed Monday through Wednesday.
