The MMU Concert Series world-renowned Rockers: Scott Page, Tony Franklin, & Kenny Olson for a unique, one-night-only show!

The anti-establishment genre we know as “Rock and Roll”, truly knows no boundaries: Multiple decades that define individuality and cultural expression. Through it all, the songs of the 70s, 80s, and 90s have left an undeniable mark on society and in our every day lives, becoming a part of our routines in the present and undoubtedly… the future. On March 29th, Thomas Claxton’s “Me, Myself, & Us” Concert Series takes a trip back in time, welcoming Special Guests: Scott Page (Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Toto), “The Fretless Monster” Tony Franklin (The Firm, Whitesnake, Blue Murder), and Kenny Olson (Kid Rock & The Twisted Brown Trucker Band), three Performing Artists that helped shape the music that we all know and love.

* Tony Franklin (Bass): “The Fretless Monster” (as he’s often referred to), Tony Franklin is the founding bassist of the Supergroup “The Firm” alongside the legendary founding member of Led Zeppelin: Jimmy Page, and equally as legendary founding Vocalist of Bad Company: Paul Rogers. Tony’s illustrious career has seen him touring and recording with a number of household names and appearing on shows ranging from the “Late Show with David Letterman” to “Good Morning America”. In 2006, Fender released the “Tony Franklin Fretless Precision Bass” and in 2008, the “Tony Franklin Fretted Precision Bass”.

* Scott Page (SAX): Most performers are lucky to be a touring / recording member of any legendary band… much less THREE OF THEM! Technologist and musician Scott Page made his mark in the world of music with THREE of the world’s most iconic bands: Pink Floyd, Supertramp, and Toto. Currently the CEO of the LA-based media company, “Think:EXP”, which focuses on live immersive entertainment, Scott continues to leave his stamp of incredible talents to each of his projects and brings forward an innovative vision for the industry through now-available modern technologies.

* Kenny Olson (GUITAR): Detroit, Michigan guitarist Kenny Olson is the founding guitarist for Kid Rock’s “Twisted Brown Trucker Band” and also helped co-write many of the band’s groundbreaking hits, with credits including the ultra-successful “Devil Without a Cause”, which sold over 14 MILLION copies. Kenny’s numerous stage credits range from the Super Bowl Halftime Show to rocking the masses at Woodstock ’99 and countless other major festivals and stadiums. To quote Keith Richards: “Kenny Olson is one of the best rock guitarists on the scene right now.”

The band will also feature…

*Eric Frampton (Keyboards): Career performing artist Eric Frampton has worked with namess ranging from The B-52s to Collective Soul and Mothers Finest to Paul Simon and has also produced commercial music from entities ranging from the Atlanta Braves to the QVC network.

* Mark Vaquer (Drums): Aside from the drumming obvious throughout his 30+ year career, Vaquer is also featured in globally distributed publications such as “The Lennon Letters” due to his industry-respected knowledge on Beatles history and memorabila. Mark Vaquer, a Savannah native, is also a founding member of Savannah-based “Shut Up and Drive”.

and…

“Me, Myself, & Us” Concert Series Founder:* Thomas Claxton (Lead Vocals): Classically-trained Vocalist and native of Effingham County, Claxton’s career has seen him perform and/or record with various members of bands such as David Bowie, Tina Turner’s band, Jane’s Addiction, Three Dog Night, Parliament-Funkadelic, Satriani, Huey Lewis and The News, and more.
